Thank you for taking the time to browse our site and learn a little about who we are at Simple Car Company. I’m Jason Flowers, the owner of Simple Car Company. My family and I are passionate about our business with deep roots in the Oak Harbor community. After spending 15 years in the automotive industry and personally being a frequent car buyer, I realized a major problem. Buying a car from a dealership has typically become a high stress process and often a dreaded hurdle in taking ownership of a new vehicle. I wanted to change that. It wasn’t feasible to change all the old-school car dealer mentality out there, so my family and I did the next best thing. We created our own store based on the concept of making the car buying process simple. Then we gave our dealership the most blatantly obvious name we could; Simple Car Company. Here’s our not-so-secret-recipe for Car Buying Made Simple:

Honesty and Integrity. Without either of those everything else is irrelevant.

Atmosphere. Relax. It’s OK for car buying to be enjoyable. We’re here to assist you in making an informed buying decision. There’s no pressure necessary in any part of that. Nothing against a suit and tie, but that’s not our style. The vibe at our store is casual and friendly, yet professional. We respect that all customers are not alike. You may be the shopper that likes to go for a 5-minute test-drive and then get going on the paperwork. No problem. You may be the shopper that likes to inspect every crevice of the vehicle, go for 3 test-drives to Deception Pass and sit in the car for 30-minutes to demo the stereo. Great! We’ll bring you a really good CD to listen to.

Knowledge. We love cars. Our inventory is more than just stock numbers and dollar signs to us. We’ve driven every car here, and likely thought about how it would look in our own driveways. If you get bored reading the internet specs we would be delighted to tell you what we really enjoyed about driving that particular car, the history of it and what features really stood out.

Quality. All our inventory is hand selected. Just like you, we have thousands of options when buying cars, but only a few make the cut. Whether it’s a lease return, trade-in, consignment or brokered vehicle, if it’s not a nice car we’re not going to put it on our lot.

Reconditioning. We have surrounded ourselves with a very talented group of professionals that ensure your new vehicle meets our strict safety, mechanical and cosmetic standards. Every vehicle from Simple Car Company is delivered fully detailed and serviced with a 3rd party, non-biased inspection report from an ASE certified technician.

Value. Before pricing each vehicle, we perform a detailed market analysis to make sure that the vehicle you’re interested in is one of the best priced among its competition. Every vehicle has one low price equally across every source of advertising. This ensures that you’re always going to get our lowest advertised price and eliminates the need for the dreaded back-and-forth negotiation process. Why should you have to negotiate your way to a good deal when you could have simply started there in the first place?

Convenience. We take the lag work out of the auto loan process. There’s no need to go back and forth with an outside bank or Credit union, faxing paperwork, looking up values and signing paperwork at a different location. Our direct lenders offer very competitive rates and most customers will be automatically qualified for a low interest rate auto loan within minutes, without ever having to leave our dealership.

Peace of Mind. Most of our vehicles qualify for extended warranties ranging from 12 months of powertrain coverage up to 10 years of full bumper-to-bumper coverage. Protecting your investment with a service contract is a surprisingly affordable way to take the guesswork out of future repair costs.

Reassurance. Every car on our lot is CARFAX Certified with a CARFAX Vehicle History Report and CARFAX Buyback Guarantee included free of charge.
